My mum brought me up in the Catholic faith, even though I was not baptized as an infant. Thus, I have always believed that God exists and I attend mass too. Throughout my youth, I enjoyed running and excelled in school. However, I began to fall prey to the secular values and the belief that I am a self-made man. My faith had receded from its vitality and its weakness affected all aspects of my life.
He closed the path that I thought was the best and opened an unexpected alternative – the gift of faith in Jesus Christ
As such, I began to worry about every detail of my life. Last year, I met with a major accident; God took away whatever I worked hard to attain. Amidst this setback, God was teaching me that His plans and rewards are always better than what I can envision for myself. He closed the path that I thought was the best and opened an unexpected alternative – the gift of faith in Jesus Christ; I was Baptised this Easter. I now truly acknowledge God in all my achievements and entrust to God each stepping stone of my life.
