My two surgeons had confirmed diagnosis of my gall bladder tumour (7 cm) then. In terms of cancer diagnosis, it was very much on the high side. “No point operating on you, spare you the pain.. If it has already spread (since it is so big…) At most, you have five more years left. If it spread, you can half that – I was thinking, half of that would mean two and a half years. My school-going kids still need me!

Lord Jesus I cant go!! Not yet.
Have mercy on me lord.

I cried buckets then. I sought help from my parish’s charismatic prayer intercessory group and requested to be prayed over. There were so many people who prayed and stormed heaven for me. My hope was strengthened with prayers.
When I had my operation, and my gall bladder was finally removed, it turned out to be an inflammation and it took my doctors my surprise. God has healed me! Praise God for whom all blessings flow!
I encourage all who are going through a physical suffering to lift up your worries and fears to God. He alone knows what we need best. Nothing else matters. I have learnt not to cling on even to life itself and take each day as a gift from God. I urge you to pray and if possible, fast, say the rosary and receive the Holy Communion. Everything happens in His time. Jesus is our perfect doctor and divine physician.
God bless you
